Walpurgisday celebration with warmth and a festive atmosphere!

Celebrate that spring is finally here and the winter months are behind us. We celebrate in an atmospheric way with lit fire torches outside the castle and lit candles in the castle's dining rooms. In the evening there is a Walpurgisday celebration in the castle park with a male choir solemnly singing in spring and a large Walpurgisday bonfire. According to tradition, the Walpurgisday celebration at Sundbyholm usually ends with a large fireworks display over the lake.

An evening that sparkles with both light and taste
The evening begins with a tasty Walpurgisday buffet with various starters, two main courses (meat and fish) and finally two tempting desserts.

Fire, spring songs & bubbling atmosphere
You should not miss the traditional Walpurgisday fire in the castle park. Feel the warmth from the flames, hear the songs echoing over the water and experience that special feeling of anticipation and community. It is an evening that sparkles – literally!

Sleep well and wake up to the spring sun
After the celebration, a good night's sleep awaits you in our hotel rooms with comfortable, eco-labeled beds. The next morning, a generous breakfast buffet is served - perfect for gathering energy after an evening filled with spring joy.

All meals are served at the castle while the overnight stay takes place in one of our hotel buildings. There is no accommodation in the castle building.

Check-in to your room can be done from 3pm (earlier if your room is ready) on Walpurgis Eve and check-out is possible no later than 11am the following day.
