Seafood package at Sundbyholms Slott - an atmospheric castle experience

Sundbyholms Slott is located in a lakeside nature reserve with beautiful surroundings all year round. If strolling in the beautiful castle environment is not enough activity, there is also billiards, shuffle board, darts and more at the hotel for those who want to challenge each other or themselves.

In the castle's atmospheric dining rooms, where original paintings of nobility and royalty look down, you are served a generous seafood platter directly at the table.

The platter is loaded with delicacies of the sea: ½ lobster and ½ crab per person, oysters, crayfish, mussels and smoked shrimp, along with cold sauces, castle-baked bread and butter. (The contents may vary depending on the evening.)

The dinner ends with your choice of a delicious dessert from the menu or a selection of Swedish farm cheeses with the castle kitchen's own marmalade.

Both before and after dinner, you are welcome to the bar and the cozy lounges in the castle vaults. Overnight stays are in modern hotel buildings surrounded by nature. Our flagship is the manor house, which is located right next to the castle and has six uniquely decorated suites, all of which have been tastefully renovated in a historical spirit. Spa suites with their own sauna and whirlpool bath tub, as well as family rooms with two bedrooms and a living room, are all located in small houses with nature right outside the door. Many of our standard and smaller double rooms have magical lake views. Regardless of room category, all hotel rooms have equally comfortable beds and fluffy duvets.

"Farmer Seeking a Wife" has filmed its speed dating at Sundbyholms Slott for 18 seasons, so you may recognize both the indoor and outdoor environments from the TV show. It is beautiful here all year round.

We also offer children's packages with a children's menu and an extra bed in the parents' room/suite for families who want to celebrate with us. Otherwise, the castle is a relaxing environment for all our guests. Children from 12 years and up get the same seafood platter as adults.
