Experience the red deer rut

September is a particularly beautiful time at Eriksberg. The landscape shifts into autumn colours, and across the land the powerful calls of the red deer can be heard from different parts of the reserve.

On September 19, 2026, you have the opportunity to experience this up close. Together with one of our experienced guides, we head out into the safari park to listen to the rutting calls of the red deer. During the tour, we stop at selected locations where the deer gather, and with a bit of luck, we may also catch sight of the impressive stags.

In the evening, a three-course dinner is served, prepared by our chefs with care for seasonal ingredients. If you wish to begin your visit with lunch in Restaurant Visenten, this can be booked separately.

Our hotel packages include entry to the park, with the opportunity to explore it by car during opening hours in season. At other times of the year, access is very limited and only a small number of special guided tours are available at an additional cost. As a hotel guest, you receive a 20% discount in Eriksberg’s farm shops (excluding products from Kullaro).
