A HIKE OF ITS OWN
Lejondals Slott is wonderfully beautiful next to Lejondalssjön with magnificent nature all around. Experience nature on foot and feel the tranquility by going on a long, lovely hike in the area. We pack a rucksack that you collect from the reception and can borrow for the hike. In the backpack you will find a seat pad, coffee thermos, lunch bag and map. Then relax at the castle, maybe take a dip in Lejondalssjön or rest for a while on the jetty.
Next to us, there are plenty of hiking trails such as Upplands-Broleden and Lejondal nature reserve. If you'd rather stroll or enjoy walking, there are several shorter routes to walk around the castle. Experience our fantastic castle park, stroll along the water and feel the atmosphere. We will pack a backpack for you with a packed lunch consisting of coffee, the castle's own apple juice, a sandwich on sourdough bread with "double smoked black ham", coarse mustard, cheese and sprouts, muffins, ButterScotsch Toffies and fruit.
Once back at the castle after your hike, you can add entry to our newly renovated spa and relaxation area, or settle down in the lounge and order a cold glass of something good to drink. In the evening we turn up for a lovely three-course dinner in the castle restaurant. Round off the evening with a cup of tea or perhaps a gin drink in the library. Then fall asleep comfortably in one of our hotel rooms and wake up refreshed to a good castle breakfast buffet.
You choose for yourself whether you wish to collect your backpack earlier on the day of arrival and complete the hike before check-in or whether you wish to complete it after breakfast on the day of departure. State which option you prefer in the message box when booking and any special diet.
