Hotel - Brunnstugan
In Brunnsstugan you live like Emil in Lönneberga, in a country cottage. Here you have four beds divided into two rooms and a kitchen, crocheted lace curtains, open fireplaces and rag rugs on the floor. Living here is like coming to grandma's in the country, with hotel service.
In the early 19th century, more housing was needed for the farm's employees. The Boatman's Cottage was added and became a semi-detached cottage, which was very typical for the Skirö region. The cottage was named Brunnstugan because it was closest to the well. Unlike its twin, the Boatman's Cottage, the Brunnstugan is built with standing timber, a technique that became increasingly common in the early 19th century. Many employees have lived here over the years, from the Karlsson family with their eleven children to barn workers and, above all, the coachmen.
The Brunnstugan was renovated in 2011 and 2020 and has a large cottage, a small kitchen, four beds and its own patio.
All our cabins and rooms are equipped with shower and toilet, TV, free wireless internet, bed linen and towels. You get the silence and the beautiful view from your own veranda. Charger for electric car is available. Breakfast buffet is included.
