The rooms have a toilet, shower, TV, hairdryer, kettle, iron, ironing board and bubble bath. Slottstugan is located on the entrance floor. History The castle cottage In 1895, the old tobacco factory, which had previously been a sugar mill, was converted into a mental hospital for male patients. Then it was also necessary to build an official residence for the chief doctor (Stora Slottsvillan) and the old villa that had been a private villa became a residence for junior doctors (Lilla Slottsvillan). The entire park was fenced off to become rest areas for the patients. As a result, there was thus only one entrance to the Asylum (hospital).
