Our castle is surrounded by beautiful nature, so what's better than taking a long, lovely hike and then relaxing in a royal castle. We pack a backpack that you collect from the reception and can borrow for the hike. In the backpack you will find a seat pad, coffee thermos, lunch bag and map. The packed lunch consists of a sandwich, coffee bread, fruit, water and coffee.
Next to us you will find, among other things, the Ingegerdsleden, whose stage 4 starts at Rosersberg Castle and stretches about 13 km to Sigtuna, if you prefer to stroll or enjoy hiking, there are several shorter routes to walk.
Once back at the castle after your hike, you are treated to a lovely three-course dinner in one of the castle's dining rooms. Sleep soundly in one of our fine superior rooms and wake up refreshed to a large breakfast buffet.
You choose for yourself whether you wish to collect your backpack earlier on the day of arrival and complete the hike before check-in or whether you wish to complete it after breakfast on the day of departure. State which option you prefer in the message box when booking. Also report any allergies/needs for special diets there.
Tips for routes that are available for hiking and that are included on the map you receive from us are:
Round trip to Sigtuna approx. 26 km
Round trip to Stenladan in Steninge approx. 15 km
Round trip to Runsa fornborg approx. 10 km
Or why not just walk in our castle park, here there are loops and paths between 0-5 km
