Check in during the afternoon, leave your bag and pick up your picnic and take it out into the summer heat. You can sit wherever you want in the magnificent castle park and you can understand why Karl XIV Johan and his wife Desiderias chose this particular place for their summer residence. The castle park is an experience in itself and here, in addition to relaxing on the picnic blanket, you can stroll around and enjoy miles of perfectly cut lawns, well-shaped bushes, winding paths and the glistening waters as a backdrop. Take a dip from the jetty, play billiards or boules. If you want to go for a longer walk, well-known hiking trails pass just outside the castle.

The package also includes a three-course dinner in one of the castle's beautiful dining rooms, an overnight stay in one of the castle wings and a castle breakfast buffet.

You choose for yourself if you wish to pick up the picnic on the day of arrival, it is also possible before check-in, or if you want it after breakfast on the day of departure.
