Västanå Manor is located 30 kilometres north of Jönkoping. The castle offers a magnificent view of Lake Vättern and scenic surroundings.
The castle is not only a well-preserved exterior. Much thought and effort have been devoted to the interior, where each spacious room has its own personality. There is plenty to discover in the historic features, fabrics and art. The castle's history, which extends back to 1590, is present in all three buildings. Fredrik von Otter is the ninth-generation owner and the third generation to operate Västanå Manor as a hotel.
The cuisine is an essential part of the overall experience. Each evening, Västanå’s restaurant prepares its own three-course menu from locally sourced ingredients, using organic produce whenever possible.
